Copper Beech has an equine spa to help maintain fitness and aid with the recovery of injuries. The spa uses ice cold water mixed with Epsom salts to minimise recovery times.
Schooling
Copper Beech schooling facilities range from small hurdles up to fully-specified racecourse-standard hurdles and fences. Schooling facilities are both on grass, and an all-weather schooling strip. In addition, we take our horses away to school at racecourses and to the Curragh.
Stalls
There are two sets of stalls at Copper Beech, one on the gallop and one along a walk way. The older horses regularly jump out of the satlls while the yearlings and two year olds walk through the stalls daily to help completely acclimatise them for thier future careers.
Turnout area
Cormac strongly believes in the horses being turned out daily in grass paddocks. Daily turn out ensures horses are happy and relaxed while in training.
Arena's
There are two arenas at Copper Beech, one indoor arena and one outdoor arena, perfect for educating our younger horses. Horses are schooled both on the flat, over fences and regularly lunginged in the arenas.
